Frequently asked Questions

How do club runs work?

Club runs start with a warm up before the run, and cool down afterwards. We utilise the RAMP method (Raise, Activate, Mobilise, Potentiate) which is recommended by England Athletics.

Do you offer runs for different distances?

On club night we offer two runs, a shorter route of circa 5K, and a longer route, typically between 5 and 6 miles. Each route option will have a designated group lead.

Are there any additional options to improve my running?

In addition to our club run nights, we offer coached sessions, usually these will be on a different night. They may be a one off session to focus on running form and technique or may consist of 6 week blocks of structured training with sessions advertised in advance.

Where are you based?

We are based at the Snaith Playing Fields (DN14 9TH). There is parking available at the playing fields (accessed via Punton Walk) and we have access to the changing rooms plus toilets.

Our members regularly attend local parkruns and would be happy to provide further information about the club.

Alternately we have club runs every Thursday evening meeting at the Snaith Playing Fields and every Tuesday evening meeting outside the Croda exit Gate, Lodge Lane. We meet at 18:50 for a 19:00 start, so just come down to say hello and join us for a run.
